We determine company values as a basis for purchase price negotiations, for investment and financing decisions, as a basis for tax restructuring or as expert witnesses in legal proceedings. Depending on the reason for the valuation, we prepare expert opinions in accordance with IDW S1, carry out an initial value assessment (e.g. on the basis of a sales multiplier, EBIT multiples or other KPIs), prepare fairness opinions in accordance with IDW S8 or carry out financial due diligence in the case of transactions.

Especially in small and medium-sized companies there is a high demand for plausible company valuations, without the need for a time-consuming, professional company valuation report. For such cases we have developed an indicative valuation scheme based on classical valuation methods. Often this valuation forms the basis for further considerations.

For companies, not least the desire of a financial institution to strengthen its equity base raises the question of the possibility of raising additional equity. We advise on capital increases, the admission of additional shareholders, the issue of profit participation rights or mezzanine financing.
